When the Sacramento Kings set out to boost All-Star votes for DeMarcus Cousins, we drew inspiration from one of the most iconic ads in history — the legendary Mean Joe Greene Coca-Cola commercial.
Our goal was to capture that same sense of heart and humor, reimagined through the lens of the Kings and their enigmatic star. The spot honored the classic with a memorable new twist — proof that small details can make a big “splash”
The result was a playful, nostalgic moment that resonated with fans and reminded everyone just how far teams will go to rally behind their stars.

This campaign highlighted what made DeMarcus Cousins different from the rest. He wasn’t trying to become an All-Star — he was born to be one. The video focused on his natural talent, his passion and presence, making the case that for DeMarcus, greatness was always part of the story.

Defend the West
In this campaign, De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis suited up as superheroes to defend Sacramento from rival villains. With the city under attack, they rose to the challenge — lighting the Beam and rallying fans to vote them into the All-Star Game. "Defend the West" captured the energy, loyalty, and pride of Kings fans, rallying them to vote Fox and Sabonis into the All-Star Game and help defend the West.
